Sunol Vallley Water Treatment Plant Ozonation Value Engineering Review

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) is implementing the Sunol Valley Water Treatment Plant (SVWTP) Ozonation project (project) to mitigate escalating taste and odor (T&O) events. This project is designing and constructing a new ozonation system and associated facilities and equipment to treat the raw water upstream of the SVWTP’s existing flash mix vault.  JHCE provided an independent review of the 65 percent design package (drawings, specifications, and cost estimate).

JHCE also provided a mechanical and electrical constructability review of the 95 percent design package (drawings and specifications).
